HOW TO SHAVE THE BACK OF YOUR NECK

If you grow hair on the back of your neck, you probably know how difficult it is to shave it without completely ruining your haircut. And while most will advise you to wait until the next trip to your barber to have it trimmed professionally, we all know how unpractical this is. Neck hair grows much faster than it does on your head, causing you to look slovenly just a few days after your trip to the barber.

Luckily, you can easily fix this problem and shave the back of your neck in between haircuts with Nekmate – the neckline shaving template.

Here are the steps to shave the back of your neck:

Comb your hair downward
Position Nekmate’s red silicone template at the desired height on the back of your neck
Position the elastic blue band across your nose or chin, in order to obtain the perfect level of tightness. This will depend on your head’s size and shape
Make sure that the template is forming a straight line. You can do so by aligning the two ends of the template below your ears. You could also use a mirror to assist with this step if necessary.
Trim or shave the back of your neck following the line created by the template
Remove Nekmate and rinse it under water before storing

I recently purchased the “Nekmate”. It is a great idea. My hair is thinning and my trips to the barber are simply to get a line. The barbers are asking from $8-$10. If you figure in time and transportation to and from the barber shop this can add up. Now a days, the barber’s want you to setup an appointment (now you have to wait while the appt. is being filled) as not to miss their big spenders.
