HAIR ON THE BACK OF YOUR NECK? NECK HAIR REMOVAL (FEMALE VERSION)

You may have decided to cut your hair short to change things up. Or maybe you often pull your hair up into a ponytail when you are on the rush. While effortless hairstyles are becoming increasingly more popular among women, it is important to keep a couple of things in mind that will allow you to maintain your look as feminine as possible.

HAIR ON THE BACK OF YOUR NECK

Since this happens in the back of your head and you can’t really see it in the mirror, you might have never thought about it before. But a hairy neck will make you look shabby, especially when you have a short hairstyle that requires a well-defined neckline.

Removing hair on the back of your neck, however, can be tricky to do by yourself. And while Kim Kardashian started the trend of permanently removing neck hair with laser treatments, we know how expensive and painful that can be. This is why we have created Nekmate – a neckline shaving template that allows you to safely remove hair on the back of your neck in seconds without having to worry about messing up your haircut.

Here are the steps to remove hair on the back of your neck using Nekmate:

1. Position your hair correctly:
   1. Short hairstyles: comb your hair downwards
   2. Long hairstyles: pull your hair up into a ponytail, and then comb your neck hair downward to create a clear separation between your neck hair and hair on your head
2. Position Nekmate’s red silicone template at the desired height on the back of your neck. For longer hairstyles, the bottom edge of Nekmate should be positioned right in the separation line between your neck hair and your pulled-up hair.
3. Position the elastic blue band across your nose or chin, in order to obtain the perfect level of tightness. This will depend on your head’s size and shape
4. Make sure that the template is forming a straight line. You can do so by aligning the two ends of the template below your ears. You could also use a mirror to assist with this step if necessary.
5. Trim or shave the back of your neck following the line created by the template
6. Remove Nekmate and rinse it under water before storing
